Including academic and research components will ensure the provision of an optimum environment for the growth and development of children.
From the Owner
Hello, I am Nicole Brown, Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Nikki's Christian Academy, Incorporated. First, I would like to thank you for considering our center as a place to provide educational support and care for your child when you cannot be there. As a parent, I understand the concerns, questions, and even anxiety accompanying the decision before you. Within this introductory letter, I will endeavor to provide you with enough information to make a quality decision as you consider Nikki's Christian Academy for your family's early educational needs. Nikki's Christian Academy began in the Woodbridge area in February 1993 as a licensed in-home center caring for five children. Seventeen years later, we are a child day center licensed by Virginia to provide developmental care for more than 150 children. In May 2014, we opened our 2nd location in Woodbridge. We are just as we started, Christ-centered, smoke-free child care, and learning center. We maintain a CPR and 1st aid certified staff present during daycare hours.
All members of the NCA team must pass a criminal background check, and child development services check before being employed. I am proud of the team that stands in unity to meet the educational, developmental, and care needs of our children and their parents. We do not see our ministry as a babysitting service; therefore, even with infants, we seek ways and opportunities to nurture and encourage their development. We utilize a highly acclaimed early language development system in their daily plan. I believe in education not just for our children but for the staff as well. I ensure each team member meets the Virginia state education and training standards annually. Beyond that, I have incentive programs for those on staff actively pursuing their CDA or other childhood-related degree programs. Our center offers a variety of programs geared to meet the needs of families with children ages six weeks to 12 years old. Again, I appreciate your interest in Nikki's Christian Academy. Nikki’s Christian Academy is a faith-based early childhood education center committed to nurturing children academically, spiritually, and emotionally in a loving, structured, and excellence-driven environment.
Founded by Nicole L. Brown, the academy was built from a vision to create a place where children thrive and families feel supported. Today, that vision continues through a powerful mother-daughter leadership team.
Nikki Brown, Head of School, leads the day-to-day operations of the academy, overseeing staff, classrooms, and program excellence with strength, compassion, and accountability. Alongside Nicole L. Brown, Executive Director, she helps carry forward a legacy of leadership, service, and impact.

Philosophy and Religious Affiliation
At Nikki’s Christian Academy, our foundation is rooted in the Holy Bible and Christian values. We are a nondenominational Christian learning center committed to creating a loving, faith-filled environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our daily experience includes prayer, Bible-based learning, and weekly chapel services, giving children opportunities to grow in faith, character, and confidence from an early age. We also begin our staff meetings with prayer, ensuring that faith remains at the center of everything we do.
​
While we welcome families from all backgrounds and do not require students or staff to share our beliefs, it is important that all families understand that our school operates from a strong Christian foundation centered on the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Every aspect of our environment from our curriculum and books to our music, learning activities, and teaching tools is intentionally chosen to reflect excellence, integrity, kindness, and the values found in God’s Word.
